Course Summary

This course cover the most important aspects of fetal echocardiography with focus on congenital heart disease. The course will provide basic knowledge of fetal cardiac screening, techniques of fetal echocardiography, structural cardiac abnormalities in fetus, fetal cardiac rhythm evaluation and some advanced feature of fetal echocardiography. During 8 session, you will be familiar with different modes of fetal echocardiography including M-Mode, 2D, PW, Power Doppler, B mode and STIC to detect structural heart diseases and perform a quantitative assessment of fetal heart function.
To better understanding of pathological finding, each session will be followed by some real cases. These cases will boost your skill to detect fetal cardiac abnormality and decision making when you face with abnormal fetal echocardiography.
